The Space Gallery
The Space Contemporary opened in 2022 in the heart of Buda, on Hattyú Street, and has been an active player in the Budapest contemporary art scene ever since. The gallery has already made its international debut at the ARCOmadrid fair. We currently represent 15 artists: painters, graphic artists, sculptors, photographers, and textile artists, both younger and older creators. Most of them are Hungarian, but we also represent foreign artists and Hungarian artists living abroad.
As a multifunctional space, we not only host exhibitions, but also serve as a venue for lectures, discussions, guided tours, workshops, and community events. Our goal is to create a meeting point between those interested in contemporary art and the players in the art world.
The gallery’s founder, art manager Linda Bérczi, has also been involved in significant cultural projects such as the Budapest Art Mentor program, Budapest Art Week, and Esterhazy Art Dating.
Thanks to Max City, this year’s stand will feature exciting furniture pieces from Indagroup and VA Design to complement the artwork on display.
