MissionAN ARTISTIC SHOWCASE

Art and Antique Budapest is Hungary’s largest classical and contemporary art fair and has been one of the most significant events in the national art scene for eight years. The fair brings together 50 well-known and highly respected galleries, presenting a rich and carefully curated selection of artworks and design pieces—ranging from accessible works priced in the tens of thousands to exceptional masterpieces valued at hundreds of millions.

In addition to paintings, the fair features valuable furniture, jewelry, weapons, books, sculptures, and carpets. The exhibition appeals both to seasoned collectors and to those who are just beginning to explore the world of art collecting and art acquisition.

The event series was launched thirty years ago under the name Antik Enteriőr by Ádám Tausz. Ever since, it has provided a unique platform where Hungarian galleries, artists, collectors, and the wider public can meet and engage with one another.

The historic warehouse buildings constructed in 1881 are embraced by a contemporary steel-and-glass shell, seamlessly blending historical and modern architecture. Within its clean, refined interior spaces, art, gastronomy, and shopping come together to form a single harmonious experience. Its hidden panoramic viewpoint offers a unique perspective on Budapest.
