Our Philosophy: The Art of the Finished Work
We believe that a picture without a frame remains incomplete. Echoing the sentiments of Vincent van Gogh, we believe that an unframed work is still in a “raw state.” Our goal is to elevate the framing experience through creativity and modern technology. For us, as for the creators, the final result is paramount: many painters apply their final brushstrokes only once the work is in its permanent frame, ensuring the piece and its surround form a perfect unity.

ProArt Frame Kft. took its current form in 2015, though our professional roots reach back much further. At our 2,000-square-meter facility, we work with premium materials from world-renowned manufacturers to ensure our partners find everything they need in one place.
Precision and Variety: Premium Materials and Solutions
- Frame Moldings: We offer over 2,500 types of moldings, ranging from classical gilded styles to modern aluminum.
- Passpartouts: Over 500 acid-free options are available, from velvet textures to metallic finishes.
- Technology: With our 120 cm x 240 cm computer-controlled (CNC) cutting machine, we can execute any custom window shape or multi-layered cutout from our cardboard materials.
Museum-Quality Glazing
Protection is our priority. We feature American Tru Vue® anti-reflective glass and acrylics (available with 70% to 99% UV protection). These products do more than just prevent fading; they eliminate reflections to highlight the true textures and colors of the artwork.
Stretcher Bars and Canvases
- We produce our own knot-free pine stretcher bars, available in custom sizes exceeding 3 meters.
- Specialty: Our aluminum-profile stretcher bars feature screw-tensioning, allowing for extremely fine regulation of the canvas tension.
- Canvases: In addition to traditional types, we offer unique black-primed and heavy-texture canvases.
Innovation and Custom Products
Our machinery allows for possibilities beyond traditional framing. Utilizing large-format laser cutters, engravers, and UV object printers, we create personalized decorations, wooden postcards, and unique gift items. Furthermore, we manufacture custom-sized storage and shipping crates for the secure transport of fine art.
